We are bringing your favourite Barcelonés, Gerard & Uxue, back to teach a weekend of Lindy Hop in Cork, 8th - 9th March 2025. This workshop will focus on techniques & tools to push your dancing to the next level.

There are 2 levels, Improver/Intermediate and Advanced/Adv+. Workshop registration is now closed but you are welcome to come to the parties. Saturday evening party with live jazz band is €17 cash on the door. The Sunday Farewell Tea Dance is €10 at the door.

IMPROVER/
INTERMEDIATE
As a guideline, you have taken classes for a minimum of 6 months and are comfortable leading/following core rhythms such as triple steps and kick steps. You can social dance shapes such as Frankie 6s, Circles and Skip Ups.

You need a sign up partner at the same level but opposite role. At the workshop, we rotate partners like normal classes.
WEEKEND OVERVIEW
CLASSES & SOCIALS
Classes will be held at St Aloysius secondary school in city centre over both days.

There will be an evening party with live jazz from the Cormac Hennessy Quartet on Saturday from 9pm-12.30am at Blackrock Hurling Club.
The Farewell Tea Dance on Sunday is from 3.30-6pm at the Cricket Club

Both parties are included for full pass holders.If you would like to only come to the parties you can buy tickets at the door for €17 Saturday and €10 Sunday, cash only.

Jetting in from Barcelona they bring over 10 years of teaching and performance experience, both at their own dance school and at international swing festivals.
We are excited for them to share their knowledge and passion for Lindy Hop with us. They draw on their extensive backgrounds in; Lindy Hop, Tango, Ballroom, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Contemporary Dance to create a unique and very popular teaching partnership.
