We are bringing your favourite Barcelonés, Gerard & Uxue, back to teach a weekend of Lindy Hop in Cork, 8th - 9th March 2025. This workshop will focus on techniques & tools to push your dancing to the next level.

LEVELS & TICKETS
IMPROVER/
INTERMEDIATE
As a guideline, you have taken classes for a minimum of 6 months and are comfortable leading/following core rhythms such as triple steps and kick steps. You can social dance shapes such as Frankie 6s, Circles and Skip Ups.

ADVANCED/
ADVANCED +
As a guideline, you have taken classes for a minimum of 2 years and are comfortable leading/following shapes such as Texas Tommy, Tandem Charleston and Swing Outs. At socials you add personal flair to your movements, even at faster tempos.

All levels will receive 5 hours of classes & access to both parties.
REGISTRATION
Registration opens at 10.00am on Wednesday, 25th September 2024.
You need a sign up partner at the same level but opposite role. At the workshop, we rotate partners like normal classes.
WEEKEND OVERVIEW
CLASSES & SOCIALS
Classes will be held at St Aloysius secondary school in city centre over both days.

There will be an evening party on Saturday (venue TBC) and a farewell dance on Sunday afternoon at the Cricket Club finishing at approximately 6pm.

Jetting in from Barcelona they bring over 10 years of teaching and performance experience, both at their own dance school and at international swing festivals.
We are excited for them to share their knowledge and passion for Lindy Hop with us. They draw on their extensive backgrounds in; Lindy Hop, Tango, Ballroom, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Contemporary Dance to create a unique and very popular teaching partnership.
